After the success of the Byte the Book event held in March, which PODW and The Great British Book Shop sponsored, we are now set to sponsor yet another! The event will explain the current shift within the print industry as digital printing becomes ever more popular.
The event will showcase the shift towards a consumer market in the digital age and will be chaired by Lisa Edwards (Publisher at Carlton), examining the effect that digital has had on print and the new models that are emerging. The panel will consider, amongst other things, Bookazines, Partworks, Print on Demand and Special Sales and will include:
- Andrew Davies (Publisher at Immediate Media, formerly BBC Magazines)
- Laila Dickson (Key Accounts Manager at Scholastic)
- Martin Spear (Reprints Controller at Osprey Books)
- Maggie Calmels (Creative Global Development Director at Eaglemoss Publishing Group)
