The BBC’s Love to Read campaign

Last year’s BBC’s Love to Read campaign, which lasted for the entire year, proved to be extremely successful.  The BBC decided to follow it up with two shorter campaigns, one in July, which focused on the Jane Austen bicentenary (Jane Austen died on 18th July 1817), and a second in October, which will coincide with Books Are My Bag Bookshop Day (co-ordinated by the Booksellers Association) and National Libraries week.
