Moreover, the book fair is also a crucial event for the selling and purchasing of subsidiary rights; TV and movie rights, reprint rights for foreign book editions, and paperback rights, etc. Currently, there is no other book fair as big as this one that garners so much interest from media companies. Events The festival features various events, the most recent one being The Arts+ which was launched at the Frankfurt Book Fair of 2016. Not only is The Arts+ a fair in itself, but also an international meeting place and business event which encourages culture and creativeness. The purpose of the introduction of this format is to discover the potential of digitalising creative content further. This year as well, experts, opinion leaders, international artists, and new exhibitors will be displaying innovative approaches from fields of museums, brands, publishing, design, and architecture.
