Printondemand-worldwide announces partnership with US-based Cadmus Communications
Printondemand-worldwide today announces a partnership with Cadmus Communications, a Cenveo company, as it continues to expand its global network of print partners to serve a fast-growing international client base.
As a global partner, Cadmus Communications, based in Columbia, Maryland, will print and distribute all USA orders placed with Printondemand-worldwide in a true distributed print model.
Andy Cork, Managing Director of Printondemand-worldwide said: "We're delighted to announce our new partnership with Cadmus Communications, a hugely respected company with an illustrious history that stretches back over 125 years. Its commitment to the highest standards of quality and innovation is a perfect match with our own values at Printondemand-worldwide.
"In establishing this partnership with Cadmus Communications, we are now able to offer a faster, more efficient and more environmentally-friendly on-demand print solution to our clients in the USA than ever before, and we very much look forward to working closely with them."
Through this partnership and the use of technology, USA orders placed with Printondemand-worldwide will flow from BookVault, a web-based asset management and procurement system, to Cadmus' Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and into production. This allows for the seamless and timely fulfilment of high quality on-demand books of varying sizes and bind styles regardless of the order quantity; from one to many.
Gary Pawlaczyk, Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing for Cadmus Communications, added: "The partnership with Printondemand-worldwide provides both organisations with an opportunity to better serve the global demands of the marketplace quickly by utilising the technologies and platforms already at our disposal."
Printondemand-worldwide already serves Europe from its headquarters in Cambridgeshire but has recently secured partners in Singapore and Australia to expand its geographic reach. The announcement of the USA partnership further extends this global network.
